Items Templates
I found all THESE item types on the api, so far, but I'm confused on what template each item should use. Could you help me and let me know what template should each item type use? thanks in advance ♥ EDIT: I don't know why your discussion page breaks if we don't "nowiki" this.

- Okay, first experiment succesful, it created all the Gathering tools missing pages :D However they are missing the pictures so I'll program now a script that take the icon from the api (like this Example) and upload it. With some luck all missing icons should be fixed automatically. Any thoughs? Oh, but I'll need to know what license or category do they need to be uploaded to because I'm a complete newbie to licenses and images and I might choose wrong one. - I haven't started cleaning up and categorizing the icons files, so for now just add them all as ArenaNet icons. There's one thing though, most of the gathering tools use the same icon over and over and over again, so I'll just add the ones that have the same image and your bot can grab the rest. Also you don't need to add the name of the item, that's really just for when there's more than one item with the same name, such as Esencia de la suerte so the infobox header doesn't go oversized. - Doodleplex 08:22 30 jun 2017 (CEST)
- The name thing I didn't know it, I removed that part of the script. And thank you for fixing those images. However there are 2 minor fails so far (at templates) on those pages. 1: The categories are grammatically wrong, the plural for "hacha de talar" is "hachas de talar" and not "hacha de talars", same happens with "hoz de recolección", it should be "hoces de recolección" and not "hoz de recoleccións". For "pico de mineria" it must be "picos de minería", not "pico de minerías". 2: The sección-borrador template was wrong and I don't know how to fix it for now, it's only grammatically correct now if we provide the first parameter (objeto in this case), but it'll be awkward if no parameter is provided. - For the most part, yes. Spanish gets incredibly complicated with male/female stuff. objeto or arma must be precceded by "del" in that template but plantilla would use "de la" because a template it's categorized as a female thing in spanish this may help. - Do we have an spanish template for the english Dropped by? I found a way to efficiently add the "contenida en", "reciclada de", "lista de vendedores" and "dropped by" templates to the items pages by the bot, without fails, by web-scrapping the items that use those templates in the english wiki.

As for the template for achievements, I believe it was causing issues recently, so one of the other admins with more technical knowledge than me was working on it, but he's on vacation so I'm not sure if it's done being fixed or not. - Even though you removed the question, I'll answer it anyway: if an item is discontinued, that doesn't mean it's out of the game entirely sometimes, so that it still gets categorized, and that's why it doesn't appear in the template directly. (Also isn't the word for discontinued "descatalogado"? That's what I saw others using here and assumed it was correct) And I totally forgot about the gathered from template. - Gather means "recolectar". You got confused with "recoger" but that is collect (to get items outside of a collection), which as the same time can be confusing because collect is also "coleccionar" (only if is part of a collection). - As you might noticed, the bot added all the information to already created items (was a neccesary step before ading new ones) but it maybe corrupted the order on which sections appear or maybe duplicated some of them. While sorting all interwikis and unordered "ver también" section it also created empty break lines on those wikis. In theory it all should be fixed as soon as the hotfix bot stop editing, but telling you just in case because I can't review 1400 pages at once so maybe something is wrong. I hope this massive edits don't give you much of a problem. On the worst case it saved us a ton of time. Eventually we'll have to populate the pages from which those templates get the data, but 1 step at a time.
- On another matter, I saw your edit note of Huevo, but the fact that recipe disciplines template was there is because it grabbed it by that same page on the english wiki, so unless it's a misstake, you might want to also edit the english one. - Double checked on the English wiki, and your bot was right, I was wrong. I had no idea that it was used in a crafting discipline other than chef. All Containers
Hey Doodleplex. After several tests and bug fixes, I think I am ready to run the bot and add all containers (I believe it will create close to 4430 pages). I am telling you so you can keep an eye on some of those, and in case you see something weird please tell me. As special note: It will in theory not upload files if the english wiki page of the item it should add contains the "icon =" parameter on it, in an attempt to reduce duplicate images, but due to that we gotta make sure we provide an alternative icon for that item, following the english wiki. I hope that workaround saves us time, since we will only need to upload the files and not edit the "icono" parameter on those pages. Repeated Items

- Those look like bundle items or jewelry and karma items that have one name but two rarity types(lots of renown heart merchant stuff). As a result it's probably best to add them manually. =( - Doodleplex 09:19 5 jul 2017 (CEST)

New Tool: Duplicated files
Either I'm dumb or I can't find a way to get an entire list of duplicated files on this wiki. Short story long: I made myself a tool that finds them. It could come handy for you also, and for the english wiki, so link removed. Please let me know when you have download it to remove it from the public (random people don't need to create unnecesary queries to the wiki servers). - Especial:ListDuplicatedFiles lists every duplicate file on the wiki so you can take the link down if you'd like, I don't think I'll need it. Also once I start sorting out all the images it'll be much easier to know who the duplicates are as it'll be visible in the category: icons and image categories are set up as a gallery. - Doodleplex 00:44 6 jul 2017 (CEST)

Grammar issues

Contiene template
The bot is adding all the missing items with contains template (in a moment of pure genious I found a way to code that) so... it's funny because it's so clever that it just points out a fail we didn't even noticed, on the page you undid. The fail is: All the wood materials are wrongly named, you can see the right name at the example API, it's Leño, not Tronco. I believe if more names are wrong the bot will point it out (only if the english wiki interwiki links are correct) because it actually checks if what its suppose to add is already there before adding that data. Thanks you for devoting your time to a dying wiki. You has done a great job and I appreciate all your contributions. Only for this reason, I've decided to contribute with bug fixes and translations to assist you with your "To do" list ;).
- Plantilla:Objeto caja template is mostly translated. I have to discuss category translations with Usuario:Saelyth but you can consider it done.
- Plantilla:Receta template is done. Base queries already works.

Do you think you can get Plantilla:Runa y sello nav to work? About CSS
I can see that you tried to translate the CSS. In fact, the current CSS has some translations. Here, we don't have enough people to maintain the CSS and its interactions between templates. Maybe, the best option is to import or copy the english wiki css and use it without translations. Editor with html knowlegment are used to English and templates that use parameters and properties to set CSS classes can use a #switch statement to translate.-

Alias templates
What's the point of these templates Plantilla:Potencia, Plantilla:Dureza, Plantilla:Vitalidad and similar? The template Plantilla:Atributo can do the same. They only complicate the maintenance and don't provide enough advantages. Maybe, we shouldn't import these template types here. - Duat Discusión 17:36 4 sep 2017 (CEST)
- Sorry to answer so late, but one is an icon template made just shows the icon(used a lot in templates), and the other is one that shows specific numbers along with the icon(used pretty much to show stats on armor and weapons). - Doodleplex 20:33 12 ene 2018 (CET)

"McM" instead of "WvW" and Plantilla:Recolectado de (Template:Gathered from)
Hi Doodleplex,
- WvW or McM: Today I realized you replaced "WvW" for "McM" in some pages. I just wanted to point out that even though World vs. World translates as "Mundo contra Mundo" in Spanish, the game still uses "WvW" in Spanish, and "McM" is player-created terminology, so the correct use would be "WvW" and not "McM".
- Plantilla:Recolectado de: Currently the template "Plantilla:Recolectado de" isn't working properly. The template "Template:Gather" doesn't exist in this wiki, so the "gathered from" template (Recolectado de) doesn't work. Could you please create the "Template:Gather" template? It should be something like "Plantilla:Da recurso" in Spanish. Thanks for your hard work =)

An issue with "Recolectado de" and "Recolectar" templates
Hi, I tried to add the Plantilla:Recolectado de and Plantilla:Recolectar to some pages to test them out, but they don't seem to be working properly. Contrato comercial should show Cofre abandonado, but it doesn't. Does it take some time to update? Or maybe I'm not using it correctly. Thanks!

- It appears the property that was supposed to make those templates work wasn't working at all, so the only thing I could do was rename it in the English name and it seems to work. I've had this happen a few times where apparently some of the code simply just doesn't work if it's in Spanish, I'm not sure why, but it should work properly now. Also just a heads up, you are autopatrol now so you can move pages without leaving a remnant of the page behind, which is very handy for clean up reasons. =) - Doodleplex 18:19 16 jun 2018 (CEST)
Main page changes
Hi Doodleplex,
Lately I've been thinking about potential changes to the Main Page for this wiki, since both the design and the links in there are outdated. I have been testing some changes in my Sandbox page and I've changed the links since they were outdated and some of them even were redirecting to pages with content that has been deleted from the game. The links there are more appropiate. I've also tried changing the design since I changed some category names, but due to my lack of programming skills the result is kind of ugly. I was wondering if you could, and if you had some spare time, change some of the design of the main page. Something similar to the French wiki Main Page would be really awesome. You could also make the changes in the editcopy of the main page so I could place the new links there. I know this may be a hard task or not even high priority, but I'd like to know what you think.
